    The package is in pretty good shape, but especially with several bug
    reports rolling in the last few days (many of them long-standing!) we
    decided we needed a few more days to let things stabilize.  Barring
    emergencies, we plan to submit to CRAN on Monday August 5 -- it will
    probably take a few more days after that for the package to
    appear/propagate to mirrors.
